Two major types of irrigations systems: pressurized irrigation system which is mainly an advanced and sophisticated type where water is delivered to the system using pumps, automatic filters, etc. This system is mainly used by commercial farmers in open fields or in greenhouses. On the other hand, the second type is a gravity irrigation system where water is delivered to the system using gravity. This one is mainly used by a traditional farmer as an introduction to modern irrigation systems.
